We Apologise For The Inconvenience

Just when we thought things couldn't get any worse in our poor bedraggled nation, storm Christoph decided to pay us a visit. 

For all the families and friend who have pulled together to  endure the worst virus in living memory, the effect of what must be one of the worst weeks in a generation for bad weather in the North-West must have been the final straw. 

Cheshire in particular seems to have suffered as much as anywhere in the UK with many towns completely flooded and businesses everywhere halted in their tracks by some of the worst rainfall on record.

For the first time in memory here at Lightcliffe Škoda we had to dash for the sandbags and pile then up at every available doorway to stop the ensuing torrent. Although we were able to minimise the flood damage our phone lines were completely dead from Thursday till Sunday so for those of you who suffered the frustration of not being able to contact us, we would like to offer our sincerest apologies.

We have been told there may be more to come so we,  like you are bracing ourselves here to try and prepare as best we can. In spite of everything however we will stay open so please feel free to contact us through the normal channels and as always we will endeavour to do our very best to help!
